      Magnificent. I especially appreciate Figure 16 because it’s from Paris. They did not even know the staff.
      And I’m asking. Before which hotel is this car.
      So how do you know your country?
      And is it possible that the fabulous Figaro just walks along the Champs Elysee with a souvenir?

        In this picture, the car was parked in front of “Hôtel Grimod de la Reynière”, in the street : Rue Boissy d’Anglas, Paris 8th.
        This area is one of the most monitored in Paris, because of the US embassy next to this hotel.

        Complete agreement.
        I just think it is in front of Hôtel Sofitel Le Faubourg.
        And when you go back to the Elysees Palace, there is a Christian Laboutin shop there and there was a big queue at that time. It was also before Christmas.

    @Hadri: Very impressive! I could also assign some lp’s, but I had difficulties with several others.

    How do you know the out-of-state lps? I couldn’t find anything on the first search.

    Did you check again about the truck (6)? Maybe Colorado or Pennsylvania? At least at plaque. free. fr I couldn’t find a 100 percent match…

    @ Materazzi: Unklar, was die Leute so alles an ihren Wagen haben. Wusstest du selbst bei allen die Herkunft?

    Bei Bild 3 – woher ist das blaue?
    Bei Bild 6/7 dachte ich erst, dass es ein GB Person ist. Falls es wirklich ein Souvenir ist, wäre es schon erstaunlich, dass es so einfach in Paris rumfährt.
    Was ist Bild 4??

      Ehrlich gesagt,Nein. Es war Jahr 2014 und ich war erst zweites Jahr dabei. Jetzt weiss ich schon bisschen wie funktioniert. Die CLU California würde ich auch heute kaum knacken.
      FIGARO 001- Wahnsinn. Super!!! Tag am Champs Elysee ging zu Ende und es kam Highligts. Ich mag diese Absurdität. Ich staune auch,wie kann er ruhig durch Paris und möglicherweise bevor noch durch GB fahren. Wäre ich Polizist,würde ich ihn auch weiterfahren lassen mit: Gute Reise.
      3. denke ich Peru oder sowas. Ich nachdenke auch. Das war aber bestimmt nicht die entscheidende.
      4. das bleibt Mystery

      Noch muss dir erzählen über roten Katar. Ich ging 100m und 2 Polizisten . Die mit Mützen wie im Saint Tropez. Schauten -nicht wissen. Dann kam ich auf Champs Elysee und dort stand RR KSA und ein 2m hoch Saudi. Sage ,was ist das. Sofort:Já, Katar.

        Haha! Das kann ich mir vorstellen! Aber woher sollen sie es wissen, wenn hier sogar die LP-Fans große Augen machen? ;) Die Polizisten werden sich sicher mit den LP’s aus ihren eigenem Land auskennen, aber ausländische bleiben wahrscheinlich meistens Nebensache. Eher sind dann wohl die Insassen interessant.. Ich könnte dir noch erzählen..aber vielleicht später.

        PS: Bei CLU-CA/US hab ich auch gestaunt! Hätte ich nie erwartet..

    A lot of Qatari, Saudi and Emirati drive with these kind of plates in western Europe, especially in France, Switzerland & UK. They use these plates, to hide their provenance, maybe to avoid being stolen (?).

    Before using European style plates (out of state), this Qatari used normal plates (spotted by MaxFerrari in south of France) :

    René, I am not 100% sure. Maybe you are right, but I think the right plate is : O 67379 with O and not 0 because there are a lot of Emirati in France, especially in this parking. Cars from Lebanon are very uncommon.

      I agree with you, O 67379 is probably from Dubai. For Lebanon 67379 is a too low number for Ouzai (=O). The car who took part of rally Péking-Paris was registrated O 318735.
